Gothia Cup Innebandy
What a tournament it has been. Intense matches, strong emotions, joy and disappointment – and above all, a great sense of community. During these days in Gothenburg, floorball has shown exactly what it stands for: speed, teamwork and respect, both on and off the court.
The Boys 16 Playoff A final delivered immediate drama, loud support and high intensity from the opening seconds. – Good feeling with the team, says MVP Marc Cereja after the final whistle.
The Gothia Floorball Cup has now finished, with the finals played at Kviberg Arena and Partille Arena. – This was a fantastic way to end the tournament. We have seen high-quality play, great joy on the floor, and an amazing atmosphere in the arenas, says Lena Rönnefors, tournament director for the Gothia Floorball Cup.
Fast goals, momentum swings and nerves right until the final minutes defined the Boys 15 Playoff A final. – It’s extremely fun, we’ve fought for this throughout the whole tournament, says MVP Theo Magnusson.
Bivojky Litvínov won the final against Swedish Pixbo IBF after a spectacular goal in the last seconds. – I just did my best as a goalkeeper. I wanted to help the team, says Natálie Milerová.
The match started at a high tempo and was marked by skilled play from both teams. – Very good, we had a good vibe, so it was really nice, says MVP Jakub Svěcený after the final whistle.
FBC Kalmarsund won the title after a final victory against Snipers Šamorín. - Incredible. Last year we reached the quarter-finals and now we win. It’s amazing, said MVP Liam Ljungström.
It was an intense and fast-paced match full of emotions from start to finish. – It’s completely amazing, totally insane, says MVP Noel Alvarsson after the final whistle.
Warberg IBF won the B17 final after a dramatic match against Jönköping. – It feels really good. Some in the team have won before, not me. So now it was my turn, says match MVP Harry Eskelinen.
