Fun facts

Floorball or bandy

In 1996 the Russian men’s team, General, surprises us all by arriving and thinking they are going to play in a bandy tournament (played on ice) and not floorball. Thanks to some generous sponsors the necessary floorball equipment is collected and the team can participate playing a sport they’ve never practiced.

The storm, Gudrun

In January 2005 the powerful stor, Gudrun, hits the Swedish west coast and makes a mess. Thanks to volunteers who lived closed by, the participants who were stuck at the halls got drinks and food.
