Väsby AIK are the champions of the G14 category after an impressive performance

Väsby AIK claimed the G14 title with an impressive display in the second half, scoring nine goals.

This year’s G14 final was an all-Swedish affair, with the red-clad Väsby AIK facing the green-and-black Tranemo IBK in a highly anticipated match.

Väsby AIK started the game strongly. With three shots off the woodwork and constant pressure on Tranemo’s goal, it seemed only a matter of time before the breakthrough. However, Tranemo IBK held firm, heading into halftime as the side more satisfied with the goalless scoreline.

In the second half, Väsby AIK unleashed an offensive avalanche. Less than a minute into the half, they broke the deadlock, and a few minutes later, they netted three goals in the space of two minutes to establish a commanding 4–0 lead. Stella Eriksson scored three of those goals. Väsby’s relentless attacking continued, and they capitalised on chance after chance, eventually closing the match with a resounding 9–0 victory. Väsby AIK were crowned champions of the G14 category.
– I feel amazing. I’m so proud of the team for delivering such a strong performance in such an important match, said Stella Eriksson, who was named Player of the Match after her four-goal haul.
