The success returns – Gothia Cup Innebandy opens with SSL match and opening ceremony

After last year’s crowd success, it’s finally time again – the tournament kicks off with an opening ceremony and an SSL match between Pixbo IBK and Warberg IC at Scandinavium.

The tournament begins on January 3rd, and in the evening there will once again be an opening ceremony featuring dance and music – immediately followed by a high-stakes SSL derby between Pixbo IBK and Warberg IC.

Last Year’s Success
During the 2025 opening ceremony, a new attendance record for SSL was set, with Scandinavium nearly sold out. A total of 10,811 spectators filled the stands – can we break the record again?

Saturday, January 3rd
The opening ceremony show starts at 19:30 and lasts about 30 minutes. The west coast derby match begins at 20:00.

Tickets
Everyone who book their accommodation and/or pays the participation fee will receive a ticket with your Gothia Card. Local teams can order tickets via Gothia Account.
