– It's a bit cool to have an additional name in the club name and not just the name of the place we're from, says the player Amalie Hosking Johnsen.

Lars Friestad, leader of Nittedal Wolves, explains why the young club chose its name when it was founded in 2013.
– The place we come from is called Nittedal and is located outside Oslo. There are many innebandy clubs that have animal names. Nittedal is a place with a lot of forest, so it was natural to choose an animal from the forest, says Lars Friestad.
The talented player Amalie Hosking Johnsen really likes it.
– Yes, we've a funny name and we've been called that since we were formed. It's a bit cool to have an additional name in the club name and not just the name of the place we're from. And yes, I like wolves, she says with a laugh.

In Thursday's premiere game against Munka-Ljungby IBK, the Norwegian wolves were hungrier than the Swedes. Nittedal Wolves scored four goals and kept a clean sheet.
– I think that we played very well as a team. We're very good at communicating and we know where we have each other. Then it's easy to play together, she says.
Amalie, who scored one goal on the opening day, is enjoying the experience in Gothenburg.
– It's very nice to play against other teams. We're used to playing against the same teams all the time in Norway, so it's fun to try something new. The most enjoyable parts of the Gothia Innebandy Cup is meeting new people and facing new opponents.
She believes in Nittedal Wolves in the tournament.
– If we play as we have done so far and play together as a team, I think we can go far, she says.
