Surte IS IBK B13 champions after great final: ”This win means a lot”

Two Swedish teams played for the trophy in the B13 category. Surte IS IBK created a two goal lead in the first half and never dropped the lead.

Filip Radovic scored twice for Surte IBK during the first half of the B13 final. Now they are gold medalists in Gothia Cup Innebandy 2025.
– This win means a lot, says the champion and double goal scorer Filip Radovic.

Filip Radovic scored both the first and the second goal for Surte IBK in the first half – with nice shots. They celebrated the goals loudly. The players were full of joy and happiness. Växjö IBK U 1 tried to come back in the match, but Surte IBK played a very solid match and never let go of their advantage. Malte Wulf made the match more exciting when he scored for Växjö IBK U 1 and reduced the lead, but Surte IBK was the better team in the final and won with two goals to one.

Filip Radovic and his teammates were all extremely happy after the final whistle.
– It feels really, really good to win! It was a tough match but we got through it. The win means a lot, especially since it was in the final. You get all the credit if you win, says Filip Radovic.
He’s so happy about the fact that he scored both their goals in the great final.
– It feels incredible to score twice, especially in front of our fans and everything, says the talented teenager.
Filip loved to lift the trophy. He knows exactly how they will celebrate the victory.
– We will eat pizza and we will celebrate all night, that’s 100 percent sure, says the B13 champion.
