Snipers Bratislava with a victory over Cirkus Praha in the B14 final

Sniper Bratislava won against Cirkus Praha with 5–3.

Slovakian Snipers Bratislava were pitted against Czech opposition in the form of Cirkus Praha in the B14 final. But the Slovakian team drew the longest straw and won the match with 5–3 after four goals from the match-winner Matej Marioth.

It was an intense start to the match between the two teams from neighboring Slovakia and the Czech Republic. But it was the Slovaks who started the match the strongest when Matej Marioth gave Snipers Bratislava the lead by pushing the ball into the roof of the net.
Snipers Bratislava could then extend their lead to 2–0 when Matej Marioth doubled his goal tally. But at the start of the second half, Cirkus Praha scored their first goal of the match and then tried to put an equalizer in – while Snipers Bratislava did everything in their power to extend the lead. And it was the Slovaks who scored the next goal behind the opponents' goalkeeper.
But just half a minute later, Cirkus Praha scored once again when Vojtěch Dvořák made it 3-2. The Czechs had a shot on the post soon after and continued to push for an equalizer - an equalizer that came ten minutes into the second half.
– At that time, I thought that I had to score, I was praying to God that I’d score, says Mateg Marioth.
But in a match where neither of the teams gave up, it was Snipers Bratislava Matej Marioth that could force a victory as he did a hat-trick, and 4-3, to Snipers Bratislava. Marioth managed to score another goal and became a four-goal scorer in the 5–3 victory against Cirkus Praha and was awarded the prize as MVP.
– I’m very happy because of the victory and the win – it’s a really nice feeling, he says.
