Scoring machine Felix Lanver is looking forward to the big match in Scandinavium

Pixbo IBK's forward Felix Lanver is on fire. In eleven matches, he has already produced 20 goals and 15 assists. That means he tops the leagues about most goals and points in the SSL.

On January 3rd, Felix Lanver and his teammates in Pixbo IBK will play a SSL match against FBC Kalmarsund in front of thousands of Gothia Cup Innebandy participants in Scandinavium. The scoring machine and also the new national team player can't wait.
– It is fantastic to play in front of large audiences, especially around Gothia Cup Innebandy as we can inspire future floorball players, says Felix Lanver.

What do you say about your start of the season?
– My start to the season has been very good. I create many chances and get to offer the audience many great goals! says Felix Lanver.

Why do you think you have scored as many as 20 goals in eleven games?
– We have a first line that is fantastic. We have two offensively good defenders who set me, Linus Nestorsson and Arvid Äse up in good positions where I often end up being the one to finish.

Which one is your favorite of these 20 goals?
– My 3-2 goal against Helsingborg is a nice mix of duals, technique and shots. I feel really satisfied with that one.

What are your thoughts about the goal league? Is it a goal for you to stay up there?
– Yes, of course. I want to win the league regarding most points and I will continue to go straight for the goal and make points.

You were recently selected for the Swedish national team. What was it like to debut and score?
– It was fun to play international matches and contribute to three wins against Sweden's top competitors. It was especially fun to do it together with several other friends from Pixbo.

What are your goals for the rest of the season? How good do you think that you and the team can be?
– The goal of the season is to win three gold medals – from SSL, the Swedish Cup and the Champions Cup.

On Friday, January 3rd, you play against FBC Kalmarsund in Scandinavium. The match is part of Gothia Cup Innebandy's opening night and around 10 000 participants are expected to be there. What do you believe it will be like to play that match?
– It is fantastic to play in front of large audiences, especially around Gothia Cup Innebandy as we can inspire future floorball players.

What do you think about Gothia Cup Innebandy?
– Gothia Cup Innebandy is a large youth tournament where talented young people can show themselves and compete. Playing tournaments is the most fun there is. Spending time with your team and playing together is very valuable as a youth! says Felix Lanver.
