Rungsted-Hørsholm FK comes with a record number of participants

Rungsted-Hørsholm FK is sending more participants than ever before to Gothia Innebandy Cup, which will take place 4th-7th January.

Around 100 players, coaches and parents - divided into four boys' teams and two girls' teams - are ready to make the trip to Gothenburg.
– There are several explanations for our participation with a record number of teams, says Stephan Wulff, who works for the club.

The Danish club, which is located in Hørsholm 20 kilometers north of the capital Copenhagen, was founded in 1994 and is celebrating its 30th anniversary next year. They currently have around 320 members. They have many teams that compete in leagues in Denmark and go to tournaments nationally and internationally every year.

Never before has Rungsted-Hørsholm FK sent around 100 participants to Gothia Innebandy Cup.
– As a club, we have had growth in terms of the number of members and we're doing a lot of work to get young people to go to at least one tournament abroad during the second half of the season. We previously had teams in Prague as well, but we're sending all teams to Gothenburg this time, says Stephan Wulff and continues:

– We think it's a good tournament where we meet teams that we don't usually play against and it's only three-four hours away by bus from Hørsholm. The players love to come away from home and be with their friends and play against other teams. Therefore, the Gothia Innebandy Cup is a good social trip for us, which is used to strengthen the cooperation. This means that we get stronger relationships. We're also trying to get good cooperation with Swedish clubs regarding our own tournament. We're looking forward to the trip and our goal is to bring home happy players!
