Kviberg Arena will be a new venue and finals arena for Gothia Innebandy Cup

The brand new sports hall in Kviberg, called Kviberg Arena, will be a new venue and also finals arena during Gothia Innebandy Cup in January. – Kviberg Arena will be fantastic for everyone, says the tournament director Lena Rönnefors.

Kviberg Arena is located just below Prioritet Serneke Arena in Kviberg and consists of two full-sized pitches under the same roof. There are stands around the pitches. Both pitches will have a capacity of 500 spectators each when there are group games. We will be able to accommodate as many as 1 500 spectators in the finals.
– It's unique for the city of Gothenburg to make a brand new arena in this format. It's well thought out to cover many sports and the ability to convert two pitches into a main arena with a capacity of 1 500 spectators is cool and fits the Gothia Innebandy Cup perfectly. It provides new and better opportunities for a good arrangement both in the group stage and playoffs and of course in the finals, says the tournament director Lena Rönnefors.

There are also other upsides with Kviberg Arena.
– There is plenty of space for our partners and for activities for the participants in the arena. Of course, Valhalla Sporthall is a big loss this year, but it is temporary and Kviberg Arena will be fantastic for everyone, says Lena Rönnefors.
Klubbhuset was previously located in Valhalla Sporthall, where they held various competitions and activities. They will of course also be on site in Kviberg Arena. The 2024 final arenas for the Gothia Innebandy Cup will be Kviberg Arena, Prioritet Serneke Arena and Partille Arena.

Warm welcome in January!
