Karlstad IBF's B15 team started Gothia Cup Innebandy 2025 with a big win against the Danish side Rødovre Floorball Club.

Leo Deriouguine got the great win that they wanted in their opening game.
– We're here to win, says Karlstad IBF's captain.

Jonatan Magnus scored the first goal for Karlstad IBF in the first half and then Leo Sadleir scored the second goal for the Swedish team. Leo Deriouguine and Ville Lindalen made the score 4–0, before Magnus Strømstad made it 4–1 in the last seconds for Rødovre Floorball Club.

Karlstad IBF got the good start that they wanted. The captain Leo Deriouguine is really happy about it.
– We played a very good match. The first 15 minutes we did really well, then we were a bit wobbly and sloppy. We scored a few extra goals. I got a good pass from my friend Elias Adolfsson and scored. I'm happy. We got the three points and a solid win, says Leo Deriouguine.

He has good hopes for the tournament.
– We're a good team and we're doing a good job. We fight as a team and we are here to win. Winning this tournament is one of the best things you can do. It's magical to be here, I have a wonderful feeling. We are used to being in Karlstad and playing in the same arenas. It's so much fun to come here and face other teams, says Leo Deriouguine.
