Great fair play spirit in GIC: "Fair play is very important"
The fair play project Celebrate The Game is very important in Gothia Innebandy Cup.
Celebrate the Game is a fair play project that Gothia Innebandy Cup runs to create a better environment and a better climate for everyone, on and off the court. "Referees are human" is one of Celebrate The Games four important messages.
This means that players, leaders and parents must act in a fair play manner and be nice and show respect to the referees. Together, we can create an even better environment on and off our plans around Gothenburg. Tina Sandberg and Alva Perman are two of the fantastic referees in the tournament and they really like being part of Gothia Innebandy Cup.
– I think there is a lot of fair play in Gothia Innebandy Cup. Then of course it happens that you get reactions from players when they get something against them, because there is a lot of emotions in floorball. Overall, it's good, says Tina Sandberg and adds:
– Fair play is very important. It's more fun for everyone when it's a lot of fair play manners. It's important to respect each other in the sport.
The colleague Alva Perman agrees.
– I think the players behave well most of the time. Sometimes there's a bit of a disagreements.
She definitely likes refereeing in Gothia Innebandy Cup.
– It's fun to see how everyone plays and it's fun to be refereeing around players you're not used to see. There are many new teams, players and joy, says Alva Perman.
Tina Sandberg thinks the whole thing about the tournament is fun.
– And you get a different angle when you are referee than when you play yourself. It's fun to be involved and contribute, she says.
