Gothia Cup Innebandy is expanded with more arenas
Soon it will finally be time for the 30th anniversary of Gothia Cup Innebandy. We can't wait to welcome you all. We're now introducing five new arenas in the record-breaking anniversary tournament.
There will be a total of 35 courts in Gothia Cup Innebandy 2025. Compared to the 2024 edition, five more arenas will be added: Lerum Arena, Almåshallen and Lundbyskolans Sporthall – all three have two courts – as well as Pinntorpshallen and Lillekärrshallen which has one court. This is a result of Gothia Cup Innebandy growing larger and thus needing more playing courts to house all 490 teams, which is a record number. There will be slightly longer journeys than before within Gothenburg, but we will ensure that everything goes smoothly for all participating teams.
The match schedule for both the group stage and the playoffs has already been published on the website and in the app, so just go in and check where your team will play matches and against which teams. A new feature for this year is that USA will be represented in the tournament. Florida Vikings FC will be participating in the B17 category. This means that teams from eight nations will participate in Gothia Cup Innebandy 2025. In addition to USA and Sweden, teams from Denmark, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Switzerland will be present in Gothenburg during the tournament.
