Blindsave leads goalkeeper training sessions at Gothia Innebandy Cup
Are you a goalkeeper and will be participating in Gothia Innebandy Cup in January? Then you can be a part of interesting and exciting goalkeeper traning sessions, led by the goalie brand BLINDSAVE.
The Latvian goalkeeper Andis Blinds from BLINDSAVE has arranged traning camps for goalkeepers around the world for the last seven years. In January, the former SSL and national team player, will host them in Sweden during Gothia Innebandy Cup in Gothenburg. On his side he will have Pontus Boman, elite goalkeeper coach. The idea is to also involve one or two goalkeepers from the Swedish top leagues.
“I am excited to see goal keepers that are so fascinated of what they are doing. They are coming from different countries and have the same goal, to become better goalies”, Blinds says.
Between the 3rd and 5th of January there will be four differens training sessions for goalkeepers participating in the tournament. The focus will be on movement, positioning, ball control and physical tips.
Andis Blinds is the owner and founder of BLINDSAVE, a company selling equipment to floorball and basketball players and their products will be available in the Klubbhuset store during the tournament.
“The idea is not just selling the equipment but to help them become better players, that is why I started my training sessions several years ago. Hopefully the participants will bring home some new knowledge that will help them in their progress”, Blinds says.
The training sessions are free for participants in the tournament, however they are limited to 15 goalkeepers per session.
”It feels great and inspiring to be able to offer exclusive training to our goalkeepers in Gothia Innebandy Cup. It is a chance too good to miss out on with so well known and experienced goalkeepers and goalkeeper coaches as Andis Blinds and Pontus Boman”, Lena Rönnefors, tournament director of Gothia Innebandy Cup says.
