Victorious due to a “secret recipe”

Lomma FBC kept a cool head and turned the game around.

It started with two conceded goals for Lomma FBC. But the team’s secret recipe made them turn the game around. 

The boys from Lomma FBC are delighted to have won the round of 16 in the B14 series against the Norwegian team, GIF Fighters. It was a tough game, that didn’t start well for the swedes. Lomma was behind by two goals, but their practiced tactic was constantly in the back of their mind.
– We knew that if we just kept calm and keep on shooting, then we’ll turn the game around and win, says Vincent Larsson. 
And the tactic paid off. Lomma FBC turned it around and won the game 6-3.
They have trained that style of playing a lot. The coaches often talk about how important it is with good communication to be able to keep a cool head in stressed situations. But most important, they have practiced shooting. 
– We practice shooting all the time. If you keep on shooting during the game you will end up winning it, says player Oscar Hakesjö.
