UHC Uster from Switzerland: “A great experience”

UHC Uster travels from Switzerland to play in the Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023.

UHC Uster is from Uster, just outside Zürich. In January, the B18 team will go to Gothenburg to participate in the Gothia Innebandy Cup. They can’t wait to come here.
– It will be a great experience for all participants, says the leader Markus Schneebeli.

Can you tell us a little about your team HFC Uster?
– We have a great team, playing in the lowest league in Switzerland for the age of 16/17 years. Our strength is to include any person with any skills in the team and integrate them. Also I think that we are always ambitious.

Have you participated in the Gothia Innebandy Cup before?
– We wanted to go last year but couldn't come due to restrictions and cancellations. But we used our still valid flight tickets and went to Gothenburg in spring and could, thanks to our friend Joachim, play a private tournament with some teams around the city, which was a great experience.

Why have you chosen to participate in Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023?
– Our team is a bunch of great people who love to play floorball and we love to compete in tournaments. Some of us had experiences in Prague, but Gothenburg is the best tournament for our education schedule.

What do you think the tournament in January will be like?
– Of course, a great experience for all participants. I’m looking forward to the tournament.

What are you looking forward to the most?
– The tension before and the excitement during the matches.

What do you think about Gothenburg as a city?
– I love Gothenburg, since we pass by every second year for our Norway holidays - my wife is half Norwegian - and each time we stop and enjoy the city center. I also loved the experience in spring when we had some time off to walk the city, says Markus Schneebeli.
