The intense time during the Gothia Innebandy Cup strengthened the team spirit

The Gothia Innebandy Cup was an important experience for Fagerhult Habo IB's G16 team.

The girls in Fagerhult Habo IB used the intense time in Gothenburg to improve their team spirit.
– Spending time with each other during the tournament is the best thing about the Gothia Innebandy Cup, says Ella Lager.

It was the first time since Fagerhult Habo IB was merged that the G16 team went to a tournament. They slept on the floor in a classroom at Burgården Gymnasium, and spent almost all their waking hours together. Something team captain Ella Lager thinks strengthens them.
– It's so much fun when we get to spend a lot of time with each other for such a long time, she says.

It went well for the girls who made it to the semi-finals in the A playoffs. One of the reasons is their team spirit, which is very important for the team. They focused on cheering each other on both during and after the matches.
– Our tactic is to constantly stand up for each other. We always try to get along and keep our spirits up, even when things are going badly. It's very important for our atmosphere in the team, says Ella Lager.

The captain doesn't want to have bad atmosphere in the team, so they have come up with tricks to keep the team spirit from deteriorating. She says that it's easy to get tired of each other when it's intense, so they switched who they hung out with during the tournament.
– Then it won't be difficult. For us, the best thing about the Gothia Innebandy Cup is being with each other, she says.
