The goal machine Edvin Fagrell hattrick hero for FBC Lomma

The great goal scorer Edvin Fagrell and his B16 team FBC Lomma had a really good first day at Gothia Cup Innebandy

Edvin Fagrell scored a goal in FBC Lomma's victory in the opening match against IBK Göteborg. He followed it up by scoring a hattrick in the second match against the Czech team FD Teplice, which FBC Lomma also won.
– I got some nice passes from Isak Falk. I can't complain. It feels great, says the top scorer.

FBC Lomma defeated IBK Göteborg 4–2. Against FD Teplice things went slower at first. The Czechs took a two-goal lead before the Swedish teams woke up and started to play better.
– It feels good. We started a bit slow and ended up behind. Then we fought our way back and won the match easily. It was 0–2 after half of the match. We ignored it and went in and played as if the score was 0–0. We won by 7–2 and did very well as a team, says Edvin Fagrell.

He himself scored the important goal to reduce the score to 1–2 and then also 4–2 and 5–2. He's satisfied with both his own and the team's performance.
– It's great to start with two wins and to start the tournament well. We just have to keep going like this, says the 17-year-old.
He really likes Gothia Cup Innebandy – even though he doesn't have very good memories result wise from his last visit.
– I played here two years ago with my previous team Bjärred. It didn't go so well back then. Now it looks like it's going better. We hope it will go as good as possible in the playoffs, says the forward.

How far do you think you can advance this time?
– I think we can go far if we just have the right mentality. That's often what it's all about.
What do you think is the best thing about your team?
– The best thing is definitely the atmosphere. We have a great atmosphere and team spirit.
What do do here in Gothenburg besides playing floorball?
– We play PlayStation in the room at school and have good chats. I have a lot of friends on the team that I hang out with in my free time too.
What dreams do you have with your floorball career?
– I'm just going to continue and tro to reach as far as possible. Right now I think it's really fun, so I'm just going to continue like this, says Edvin Fagrell.
