Black Angels is fighting for the trophy

62 teams from the Czech Republic participate in the Gothia Innebandy Cup 2023. Black Angels is one of the teams with most wins.

The G14 team Black Angels is playing great in the tournament. They won their group after four wins out of five. Today, they enter the A playoffs.
– I think that we can win the tournament, says the captain Beata Blasko.

Black Angels won against the Swedish teams FBC Lerum, Jönköpings IK, Sävsjö IBK and IBK Lund in the group stage and just lost one game; against Pixbo Wallenstam. They got twelve points and won the group, two points ahead of Pixbo Wallenstam.
– It’s a really great tournament, because you play against teams from other countries. It’s the most funny thing. It feels good and it’s fun. We enjoy it a lot. We can also make new friends from Sweden and other countries here, says the player Beata Blasko.

They scored 20 goals in the group stage. Beata is positive before the start of the A playoffs. At 3 pm today they face the Swedish side Ekängens IF/Linghems SK in Lexby Sporthall.
– I think that we can win the tournament, because we play good. We’re really close together, so we get along well. We’re also good at scoring goals, says Beata Blasko, who has scored two goals in the tournament.
She’s happy to be in Gothenburg this week.
– I like Gothenburg. It’s a nice city. I love it here, she says.
The captain of Black Angels wants to become a professional floorball player.
– I believe that I can play in the top league in the Czech Republic in the future, says Beata Blasko.
