Late brilliance from Šefrhansová Darja decides as SK Bivojky Litvínov beats Pixbo IBF

Bivojky Litvínov won the final against Swedish Pixbo IBF after a spectacular goal in the last seconds. – I just did my best as a goalkeeper. I wanted to help the team, says Natálie Milerová.

The first half ended 0–0. Both teams had strong goalkeepers who saved many shots and kept the game alive. In the 38th minute, the Czechs saved a one-on-one chance from Pixbo, which proved to be crucial for the match.
– We never lost focus and fought for the whole match as a team, says Natálie Milerová.

With only 30 seconds left, Šefrhansová Darja scored a spectacular shot in the far corner after individual brilliance. A second later, Bivojky Litvínov made it 2–0 when Pixbo had taken out their goalkeeper in a final attempt to reach extra time.

– It was a tough match and Pixbo played well. But we fought until the very end, and it was enough to win, says Natálie Milerová, who was named MVP.
