Olofström won - with the fans behind him: "They always help us"

The G15 team Olofströms IBK played their first match in the tournament on Thursday afternoon. They defeated Tranemo IBK 4-0 after an impressive performance in Partille Arena's B-hall.

Afterwards, the players in Olofströms IBK got to celebrate together with the fans, who sang for the team during the match.
– They support us and always help us, says goal scorer Nellie Olofsson.

The talented forward Nellie Olofsson both started and finished the scoring in the 4-0 win. She is happy about the win.
– It feels good. It was pretty even in the beginning. We didn't have the best play at first, but then we got going. It was good to score some goals. It was nice to win the first match, she says with a smile.

She is also pleased with her achievements in the match.

The teenager loves playing in Gothia Innebandy Cup.
– It's a great tournament. It's good teams here and everyone is very nice to everyone.

She really believes in her team and their capacity.
– I hope we will go to the final. I actually think we will. Together we are very good as a team. It will make us go very far in the tournament, says Nellie Olofsson.
In the stands they were cheered on by their biggest fans.
– We have a great crowd with our parents. We have all taken the bus here. We have good atmosphere in the club. We do different activities where everyone is involved.
Her parents were also in the stands.
– It's great that the parents are here with us. They show that they support us and they always help us, says Nellie Olofsson.

Now they are charging their batteries for their second match in Gothia Innebandy Cup 2024. At 18.00 they go for victory number two against Lomma FBC/Bjärreds IBK in Partillebohhallen.
