Husqvarna IK stage comeback to win B14 Final

Husqvarna IK are the champions of the B14 category after an impressive second-half comeback.
– We didn’t think this would happen when we arrived here, said Player of the Match Emil Holmqvist.

The B14 final featured a clash between Czech and Swedish teams, as FbC Hradec Králové took on Husqvarna IK. The atmosphere in Kviberg Arena was electric, with Husqvarna supporters armed with drums and trumpets. The match had all the makings of a fierce battle.

The Czech side seized control early, and it wasn’t long before they scored. In the third minute, they broke the deadlock, doubling their lead five minutes later to make it 2–0. Despite the tough start, Husqvarna slowly grew into the game and showed resilience. At halftime, Hradec Králové held a 2–0 lead.

The second half saw a transformed Husqvarna side. They struck twice in quick succession early in the half to level the score at 2–2. Both goals came from captain Emil Holmqvist, who was later celebrated by the Husqvarna fans. With five minutes remaining, Husqvarna completed their comeback to wild cheers from the crowd. The closing minutes were tense and dramatic as FbC Hradec Králové pushed for an equaliser, but Husqvarna held firm to secure the B14 title.
– It’s an absolutely incredible feeling. We didn’t believe this was possible when we arrived here, so winning feels amazing, said Emil Holmqvist, who scored twice and was named Player of the Match.

Reflecting on the halftime team talk, Emil Holmqvist shared:
– We said we just needed to keep going, shoot harder, and give even more effort.
