Gothia Cup Innebandy

Gothia Cup Innebandy is here – starts tomorrow

This weekend, Gothia Cup Innebandy takes over Gothenburg as young floorball players from around the world gather for four days of speed, passion and international top-level action.

Gothia Cup Innebandy is one of the world’s largest and most international youth floorball tournaments. This year, 473 teams from eight nations will take part, with a total of 1,453 matches played over four intense days. The tournament is open to players aged 11–18, divided into 14 different classes.

Group matches begin early on Saturday morning across the Gothenburg area. From then on, floorball will be played from morning to evening, Saturday to Tuesday, 3–6 January. Matches will take place in arenas in Gothenburg, Lerum/Landvetter, Partille, Mölndal and Mölnlycke.

Opening Ceremony and SSL match
Gothia Cup Innebandy also offers a spectacular opening ceremony at Scandinavium, followed by a high-quality west coast derby in the Swedish Super League (SSL) between Pixbo Wallenstam and Warberg IC.
The evening at Scandinavium promises a powerful start to the tournament. The opening ceremony begins with a 30-minute show, followed by a top-level SSL match. Interest is high, and a large crowd is expected – last year, more than 10,000 spectators filled the arena, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
