Gothia Innebandy Cup is edging closer, and on Wednesday the last education for all the officials at the tournament took place.
- We got to practice preparing for every scenario, says Mariam Hussein Sayed, 17, an official at Lundbystrandshallen.
With over 1000 matches with teams from various countries, with loads of different playing arenas, organization is key to making a large tournament like Gothia Innebandy Cup work. Without the officials at Gothia Innebandy Cup, the tournament would not have succeeded.
On Wednesday, the last education for all the officials took place. An education where Maryam was present.
- We got to learn how we should act in certain situations, and that we should be prepared for every scenario. It was very educational, and we gained a lot of valuable information, she says.
Maryam has worked in similar situations earlier but has never had such an important role previously.
- I am looking forward to see how I handle the big responsibility I have been given because I have never had a role with this much responsibility before, Maryam says.
Maryam and all the other officials at Gothia Innebandy Cup are looking forward to an exciting week, which they together with the players and spectators will look to make an unforgettable experience.
