Floorball Zurich Lioness won: "I’m very proud of myself"

The Swiss G16 team Floorball Zurich Lioness has won their first match in Gothia Cup Innebandy. They made an impressive performance in Kviberg Arena on Friday.

Floorball Zurich Lioness scored five times and won against IBK Kungälv by the margin of two goals. Kieser Sheilyn scored the match winning goal. She even surprised herself.
– I’m very proud, says Kieser Sheilyn.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster with many goals but Floorball Zurich Lioness was the strongest team on the court this afternoon.
Kieser Sheilyn scored the deciding goal to make it  5–3, which also went on to be the final result.
– It was really good. I think that my team was a little bit insecure, but in the end we won because we had very good mental strength. It was the key to the win today, says the goal scorer.

She’s impressed about the fact that they scored five times in the same match.
– It was very nice feeling to score five goals. I was very happy when I scored the last goal. I’m a bit insecure about scoring goals, because I don’t think that I’m very good but I scored and I’m very proud of myself, says the talented player.
The win means a lot to the team.
– We lost in the morning. We were a little bit sad so it was very good for our team that we won now.
Kieser Sheilyn loves to be in Gothenburg with her teammates.
– It’s a very nice tournament. We have the chance to play against team from other countries, it’s pretty nice. The best thing with our team is that we’re a strong team and that we all help each other and are proud of each other.

She’s positive regarding their chances in the upcoming matches.
– I think that we can win more matches here, says the teenager.
She likes to represent Floorball Zürich Lioness and she also believes that floorball has grown rapidly in Switzerland.
– Floorball is very big in Switzerland. We have many teams but I think that floorball is more popular here in Sweden. My personal goal in floorball is to be as good as I can, says Kieser Sheilyn.
