Epic drama when FbC Hradec Králové advanced to the quarterfinal
With 72 teams, B14 is the largest category in Gothia Cup Innebandy 2025. The 1/8 final between FbC Hradec Králové and Pixbo Wallenstam IBF was an epic and exciting match from start to finish.

It was a match that had everything; great drama, many amazing goals and unfortunately also several injuries. In the end, it was the Czech team FbC Hradec Králové who won and booked a ticket to the quarterfinal.
– The match was perfect, says Sebastian Svoboda.
Victor Cederberg gave Pixbo Wallenstam IBF the lead in the first half in Kviberg Arena but then Sebastian Svoboda scored three straight goals for FbC Hradec Králové. Jan Gubanec made it 4–1 but the match was far from over. Adam Cronholm and Elias Forsman both scored. Suddenly the score was 4–3. Both teams had chances to score in the last two minutes but the Czech team won with four goals to three – after a very intense and exciting match.
– The match was perfect. We played good. I feel good to win. We scored on our chances and won the match in the end, says the hattrick hero Sebastian Svoboda.
He’s pleased with his own performance. He didn’t ”just” score three times. He also worked really hard for the team. So did all of his teammates.
– It was nice and a really good feeling to score three goals, says the 14-year-old.
They got a player injured just 27 seconds in to the match and in the second half they got another player injured. Then, the other players stepped up and took even bigger responsibility than before.
– We won for the injured players in our team, says Sebastian Svoboda.
Earlier today they won on penalties against another Czech team; FBK Olymp Florbal. So this was their second dramatic match this Sunday. Sebastian Svoboda hopes they also will win the quarterfinal. It will be played at 8:00 PM in Kviberg Arena tonight.
