Czech teams watch the hockey semifinal together: "Big hockey fans"

FBC Ceska Lipa had a rough start to the tournament with a very long trip to Gothenburg. But now the B12 team has arrived and they're ready for their first match in Gothia Innebandy Cup.

They're watching the semifinal of the Junior World Championship in hockey between the Czech Republic and Sweden on a big screen at Torpaskolan together with other Czech teams.
– We're big hockey fans, says Peter Kopecky, coach of FBC Ceska Lipa.

They didn't exactly have the ultimate trip to Gothenburg.
– We're very tired. It's been a long journey here. It took us 22 hours to get here. We were stuck in traffic for five hours due to a traffic accident, so it took time to get here. It feels good to be here now. It's a good tournament.
At 19.20 tonight, the B12 team enters the tournament. They face the Norwegian team NOR 92 IBK.
– We're happy to come here and play, says Peter Kopecky.

They recharge by watching the semi-final of the Junior WC, which is played in Gothenburg, between the Czech Republic and Sweden together with other Czechs at Torpaskolan, where they and 15 other Czech teams live during the Gothia Innebandy Cup.
– We're big hockey fans. I myself am a big fan of Sparta Prague, so I like players that come from the club. We like to watch hockey together. I think that the Czech Republic will win over Sweden. We have good players in the team, such as the team captain Jiri Kulich, says the coach.

A total of 58 Czech teams are participating in Gothia Innebandy Cup this year. With that, the Czech Republic is the tournament's second largest nation.
