To Gothia Innebandy Cup all teams are welcome. The only condition is that the club is registered with its country’s floorball federation.
The competition starts with a group play. The teams are divided into groups of five teams (with uneven number of teams in an age category some groups may contain six teams) where all teams will meet in a round robin series. The first and second team in the group qualifies for “play off A”, the other teams in the group qualifies for “play off B”. All play off games will be decided by the cup system, which is by direct elimination.
Class B11 is played in accordance with the rules of SIBF (Swedish Floorball Association). No play off will be played and no winner declared. Instead there will be a group play with 6-7 teams in each group.

We reserve the right to merge classes if there are not enough teams registered.
It is our aim that all teams wishing to take part in the Gothia Innebandy Cup are able to do so. However, there will be a maximum of 390 teams with accommodation at school or hotel and 100 local teams. The teams paying their registration fee first will be given priority.
There is no limit to the number of players in each team. However, you can only use a maximum of 20 players for each match.
You can choose to participate in any of the following categories:
Category A - School accommodation:
Everyone staying at the school, players and leaders, has to pay the accommodation cost. The cost is inclusive of ten meals and Gothia Card. The first meal is lunch on January 3rd and the last meal is lunch on January 6th. Sleeping bag or mattress is not included in the price. Bring a mattress and a blanket (if you bring your own mattress it can not be wider that 75 cm). You can also rent mattresses and bedding from us for 25 EURO per person. Leaders can order mattresses and bedding from us at no cost. Minimum two, maximum four leaders per team can sleep in the school.
Category B - Hotel accommodation:
Hotel booked through the Gothia Innebandy Cup. The cost is inclusive of breakfast and Gothia Card. Contact Gothia Innebandy Cup for price information and availability, email@example.com. Lunch and dinner vouchers for meals at a nearby school can be purchased on My Team Info.
Category C - Own accommodation:
Teams arranging their own accommodation. Maximum 20 teams in this category. The teams paying their team fees first will be given priority. Lunch and dinner vouchers for meals at a nearby school can be purchased on My Team Info.
For teams reaching the A-final, each player will receive a medal, and the teams the specially designed Gothia Innebandy Cup trophy. The two loosing teams in the A play off semi final will receive a third place trophy and bronze medals during the half time of their class final. Teams playing the B-finals will receive a trophy.
A trophy is awarded to the best club. Points are awarded as follows:
Only three teams per club are counted. By equal points the club with fewer teams taking part wins. The prize giving ceremony will take place during the half time of the final of the winning club.
All registered teams have their own My Team Info login. This is your team portal where important information about the tournament is updated regularly.
Please note that each team is responsible for deadlines of when information, orders and similar are to be submitted.
Via My Team Info you will update your registration, place orders, fill out the list of participants, make payments and see your outstanding balance.
For people with special food needs or allergies we are able to arrange this. If you wish to order vegetarian food the cost is 10 EURO per person. Please note that we don’t serve any dishes that contains nuts or pork. For those who have ordered special food you will receive a personal voucher that should be presented at every meal.
For teams arriving on January 2nd you will have to book one extra night to a cost of 10 EURO per person including breakfast. You order the extra night on My Team Info.

Please keep in mind that most of the categories are fully booked early. The time of your registration counts from the day we receive the registration fee.
The registration fee must be paid within 20 days after submitting the registration online, though no later than November 10th. The accommodation cost must be paid no later than November 20th 2020. If the cost of accommodation has not been paid for five days after its due date, the Gothia Innebandy Cup has the right to cancel your registration without any right to a refund or compensation for the registered team or club. Once we receive the payment of your registration fee we will confirm your registration. Note that all bank transaction fees have to be paid for by the teams. Please observe that we do not accept any personal or company cheques.
Refund of the accommodation cost is only possible if cancelled before December 10th, after this date a doctor's certificate needs to be presented. The registration fee is non refundable.

Each team leader must make sure that all participants carry their own insurance, both on and off the field. Gothia Innebandy Cup does not carry any group insurance, and is not responsible for, protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft or damage to property.
WE ASK ALL PARTICIPANTS AND LEADERS TO NEVER LEAVE VALUABLE ITEMS OR MONEY AT THE SCHOOL!
We reserve us the right during the tournament when needed to move a team from their accommodation to be lodged in another accommodation and the right to dismiss a participant from a Gothia Innebandy Cup accommodation if the participant commits criminal offense or at repeated occasions violates our rules.
For teams with booked accommodation through Gothia Innebandy Cup the team manager as indicated on the participants list is responsible for the team's behavior.
Neither the Gothia Innebandy Cup can be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs or losses incurred from war, warlike events, civil war, revolution, insurrection or cause of government action, strike, lockout, blockade (force majeure) or similar events.
Under these conditions, the tournament organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration/accommodation fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.
